Ranch Experience

A dream can come true!
This program enables adults to experience ranch life in Canada. If you need a break and want to see, do, learn and succeed in a different lifestyle, this is your opportunity. Participants can stay for a period of one to 6 months during the summer season and enjoy being part of the ranch team. No work permit or prior experience is necessary.

Description:

Each year we offer 2-4 young adults the opportunity to live with us on the ranch, from 1 to 6 months. During this time, participants can learn a lot about ranching, animals and enjoy a peek into the guest tourism business -- all in a beautiful setting. An excellent way for young, single women to experience Canada’s West in a well-cared-for and safe family environment.

Participants will be part of the ranch team and fill in with any projects arising out of the daily ranch life. May it be in the garden, household, animal care, collecting fire wood or other. Participants who are positive, motivated, friendly, honest, willing to learn, reliable, nature and animal loving, and open to meeting new people should be to fit right in.

Training and assistance will be provided in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere to help you master personal challenges and become comfortable on the ranch .

In addition, there will also be lots of free time which is often filled with sightseeing tours, visits to rural events such as a Rodeo, horse show, other festivals and of course activities like trail rides on our horses, ATV rides, canoeing and swimming in the River, picnics, camp fires, horse drawn wagon rides and much more fun "stuff".
